摘要 <p>PURPOSE: An optical recognition user input device and a method of recognizing input from a user are provided to prevent a touch point recognition error by determining the positions of the touch points based on the finally residual pixels when the light emission of all the optical transmission and reception modules is completed. CONSTITUTION: Plural optical transmission and reception modules(61) are arranged near a touch panel, and includes a light emission unit(61a) and a light reception unit(61b) respectively. A control unit controls the operation of the optical transmission and reception module, and calculates the touch points of the user on a touch panel through the optical signal received by the light reception unit. The control unit includes a light emission control unit and a light reception control unit. The light emission control unit actives the light emission unit through a predetermined pattern, and the light reception control unit enables the light reception unit corresponding to the light emission unit to receive the optical signal from the light emission unit.</p>
