<p>PURPOSE: A character input method is provided to input a character by selecting a character button or a character on a touch screen through a touch operation without a keyboard or a mouse. CONSTITUTION: When a user touches a word input window(15) of a website or a web browser displayed on a touch screen, a character input window(100) including a completion button is indicated on a point deviated from the word input window. If the user inputs a character on the character input window, the corresponding character is inputted to the word input window. In case that the user selects the completion button, a driving signal is generated. The driving signal drives a searching engine linked with the word input window by using the character as search data.</p> |
