PURPOSE: By including the air breather into one body included in the case and oil pump of the auto transmission the auto transmission for the vehicles can accomplish miniaturization and light weight of the auto transmission. CONSTITUTION: A case(10) constitutes the outer tube of the auto transmission. It is combined in the case and the oil pump escorts the working fluid to the auto transmission inside. The air breather is into one body included in the housing of the oil pump and case. The air breather discharges the air of the auto transmission inside. The inlet port is included so that the first chamber(52) be communicated with the auto transmission inside. It is communicated with the first chamber and outlet is included and the second chamber discharges the air flowing in from the first chamber to the outside case.
