A device for periodic activation of carbon fibrous material, which contains an activation chamber or a furnace (1) with electric heaters of directional radiation (7) located inside with a protective cover, a built-in coil heat-insulated electric steam superheater (5) and an injector (9) for partial recirculation of waste gases and air, as well as means for inlet and outlet of fibrous carbon material (4), which is intended for activation, into the activation chamber or furnace (1), and novelty is that the means for inlet and outlet of fibrous carbon material (4), intended for activation, into the activation chamber or furnace (1) is made as a retort (2) made in the form of a metal container without a lid with shape resembling inside of the activation chamber or furnace (1), in the retort (2) trays are located which are made in the form of a framework (11), on which fibrous carbon material (4) which is intended for activation is located without tension, as well as a damping material (3) located between the base of activation chamber (1) or retort base (2) and fibrous carbon material (4), intended for activation, at the end of electric steam superheater (5) from the side of the retort base (12) a nozzle (6) is located, the electric steam superheater (5) is made with possibility of providing an adjustable flow rate of steam, and the nozzle (6) is made with possibility of uniform steam supply of the same concentration throughout the volume of retort (2) or activation chamber(1). Technical result: obtaining a fibrous activated carbon material of high benzene sorption capacity at technically permissible degree of burning activated polymer fibres. |
