SIDE INSERT AND SANDWICH PANEL HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A side insert and a sandwich panel having the same are provided to simplify the coupling structure of a sandwich panel using the side insert not protruding outside. CONSTITUTION: A sandwich panel(40) comprises a first surface material(41), a second surface material(42), a core(43), and a side insert(50). A receiving groove(45) is formed on the side of the core. The first and the second surface material cover both sides of the core, respectively. The side insert comprises a first flange which is in contact with the inner surface of the first surface material and supports the first surface material, a second flange is in contact with the inner surface of the second surface material and supports the second surface material, and a web which connects the first and the second flange. The side insert is coupled to the receiving groove.
