A method for correcting cytokine profile of the bronchoalveolar secretion of the patients with community-acquired pneumonia with the concomitant steatosis of the liver comprises the use of antibacterial, detoxifying, mucolytic and symptomatic agents as well as herbal immunocorrecting compositions such as Imupret at a dose of 25 drops thrice a day for 20-30 days.
