A method of manufacturing parts such as bushings with an outside flange in radial extrusion into a circular cavity formed by half-moulds with further upsetting the flange. The circular cavity increases from 0.1 to 2 of wall thicknesses of the workpiece at displacement of the upper half-mould in the direction opposite to the direction of punch motion at the speed not more than 0.25 of punch speed, and metal is set in the flange without appearance of a fold.
