PURPOSE: A multiferroic material and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to obtain a ferroelectricity property in a low magnetic field and at room temperature by increasing the resistance of hexaferrite with a thermal treatment. CONSTITUTION: Hexaferrite is formed(S100). The hexaferrite is heated to a thermal treatment temperature at a first rate(S200). The hexaferrite is maintained at the thermal treatment temperature(S300). The hexaferrite is cooled at a second rate(S400). The first rate is between 10 to 1500°C/h. The thermal treatment temperature is between 800 to 950°C. The second rate is 50°C/h.
