The invention relates to electric engineering and may be used in transformers for welding. A transformer comprises two-legged core1, a switch. 2, a first portion of the primary winding having taps (3) is located on the first leg, a second portion of the primary winding (4) and a secondary winding (5) are located on the second leg. Introduction of taps of the primary winding first portion and corresponding location and connection of transformer windings provides increasing adjustment range of welding current and provision of durability of arcing in welding overcurrent regime. |
