METHOD FOR SELECTING ADEQUATE TREATMENT STRATEGY AFTER POLYPECTOMY

A method for selecting the adequate treatment strategy after polypectomy provides for the immunological examination and the prescription of the drugs according to the results of the examination. The individual immune status is assessed. When the level of IgE is increased ((>100 U/mL) with the normal level of other immunoglobulin classes and the normal level of the antibodies against the pathogenic bacteria of the nasal cavity, the topical corticosteroids and antihistamine drugs are used. When the level of the antibodies against the pathogenic bacteria of the nasal cavity is increased, the systemic antibacterial therapy and antioxidants are used.
