FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: method of forming nanosized structure for protection from forgery and checking authenticity of valuable articles using giant Raman scattering effect, where during use of the articles a high degree of reproducibility of the protective elements is provided, and the material of the protective element is nanosized structures which ensure additional amplification of the identification feature due to interference of the probing electromagnetic signal in the visible optical range in the said structures. ^ EFFECT: invention provides high degree of reproducibility of protective elements for valuable articles, as well as amplification of the identification feature and easier checking for the presence and authenticity of the protective element. ^ 3 cl, 4 dwg, 1 ex
