FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophtalmosurgery. Phacoemulsification in primary lens-induced close-angle glaucoma in Mongoloids follows peripheral laser iridectomy. Primarily, ultrasonic biomicroscopy is used to measure the radial sectional area of posterior chamber, the perpendicular distance of corneal endothelium in a point at 500 mcm away from scleral spur to anterior surface of iris. It is followed with measuring the perpendicular distance from corneal endothelium in a point in a point at 500 mcm away from scleral spur to the first visualised ciliary process. There is measured the distance of equator of crystalline lens to the opposite ciliary process and if simultaneously the radial sectional area of posterior chamber lays within the range 1.16 mm2 to 1.47 mm2, the perpendicular distance of corneal endothelium in a point at 500 mcm away from scleral spur to anterior surface of iris is equal to 0, the perpendicular distance from corneal endothelium in a point in a point at 500 mcm away from scleral spur to the first visualised ciliary process lays within the range 0.53 mm to 0.76 mm, and the distance of equator of crystalline lens to the opposite ciliary process is 0.64 mm, relative pupillary block in the given segment is diagnosed, and peripheral laser iridectomy within localisation of relative pupillary block is performed 1-2 days prior to phacoemulsification. ^ EFFECT: method allows improving preventive effectiveness of operative complications of phacoemulsification in primary lens-induced close-angle glaucoma in Mongoloids. ^ 2 ex |
