FIELD: technological processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railway machine building, in particular to devices for assembly and disassembly of railway wheelsets. Press comprises power frame installed on base in the form of two fixed cross beams connected to each other by two columns, two power hydraulic cylinders installed on fixed cross beams, thrust cross beam for installation of wheelsets elements and two movable cross beams. Each movable cross beam is rigidly connected to plunger of according power hydraulic cylinder and is arranged with the possibility of displacement relative to axes of power frame columns. Movable cross beams are equipped with bearing location plates arranged with the possibility to install wheelset axle on them and its basing and centering in box journals. Thrust cross beam is hingedly installed in columns of power frame between bearing location plates with the possibility of its rotation around its axis, which is perpendicular to axes of power frame columns. ^ EFFECT: technological resources are expanded, and efficiency of press operations use in assembly or disassembly of wheelsets is increased. ^ 5 cl, 7 dwg
