The device has reaction chambers (8, 9) filled with pressurized reaction gas such as deuterium/tritium, whose intrinsic centripetal pressure assures confinement of gas used for thermonuclear fusion, such as nitrogen, argon or neon, where the reaction gas is mixed with the gas to be confined. A set of maintenance and ignition functions of fusion reactions is assigned to bundles of high energy particles (2) constituted of protons and heavy ions, and is different from a set of fusion reaction functions assigned to the chambers so that the functions are independent from one another.
