The installation has a solar collector for heating gas i.e. air, and/or liquid e.g. ethylene glycol or water, using sunlight. A guiding tube of a guiding unit carries the gas or the liquid heated by the collector along a riser (52) of an absorption cooling device, so as to use the heated gas or liquid as a heat source for boiling an absorption liquid e.g. water and ammonia solution, in the riser. The unit has an air inlet (57) for introducing the air from an air circulation space (75) towards a space (56), and an air outlet (58) for discharging the air out of the space.
