PURPOSE: An organic light emitting device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to radiate light through both sides by forming the cathode of an organic light emitting device into a transparent electrode formed into a high work function material. CONSTITUTION: A transparent anode, cathode, and an organic material layer are formed on a substrate. The organic material layer is located between the transparent anode and cathode. The organic material layer comprises the n-type doped electron transport layer and a light emitting layer. The n-type doped electron transport layer includes electronic transportation materials and n-type dopant, and is located between the cathode and the light emitting layer. The work function of the anode or the transparent anode is formed into an electrode material which is equal to or greater than 2.7eV.
