PURPOSE: A water saving urinal valve using shape memory alloy is provided to prevent the spread of odor without using water and to enable semipermanent use and easy maintenance. CONSTITUTION: A water saving urinal valve(100) comprises an upper cap(4), a valve cap(7), a bias spring(5), and a shape memory alloy spring(6). The upper cap has a through hole(14) to let urine flow in. The valve cap is separated from an external structure(3) so that urine is discharged. The bias spring is interposed between the upper cap and the valve cap in order to prevent backflow of odor. The shape memory alloy spring gives an elastic force so that the valve cap is opened by the temperature and weight of urine.
