PURPOSE: By clinching a plurality of light guide plates on the stage the pattern forming device using laser improves the productivity of the optical guiding pattern. CONSTITUTION: A pattern storage stores data toward the optical guiding pattern of the linear shape. By reading out the same pattern storage controller transmits the position signal formed in the light guide plate(11) of the optical guiding pattern with the X-Y driving part. Controller transmits the switching signal which becomes based on the length information of the optical guiding pattern with the laser tube. The laser tube outputs the laser beam synchronized with the movement of the header part based on the switching signal received from controller. The X-Y driving part transfers the header part and stage based on the position signal transmitted from controller. The header part forms the optical guiding pattern on the light guide plate by condensing the laser beam to the vertical downward.
