PURPOSE: A water meter coupled with a coupling member without a spiral wire on the outer surface of a joint connection part is provided to connect a water meter with a water pipe by inserting a joint connection part of the water meter into a coupling member. CONSTITUTION: A water meter(10) coupled with a coupling member without a spiral wire on the outer surface of a joint connection part comprises an inlet joint(13) and an outlet joint(14). Coupling members(20,20') are formed in water pipes. The coupling member has a snap ring insertion groove, a slope protrusion, and a hanging protrusion. A packing member, an elastic member, and a jaw coupling(21) are successively inserted into the coupling member. The inlet joint and the outlet joint are inserted into the coupling members. |
