PURPOSE: A navigation system for a vehicle and a method for relocating the destination thereof are provided to simply change the destination of a vehicle by using a drag and drop method. CONSTITUTION: A navigation system for a vehicle comprises an input part(110), a control part(120), and a display part(140). The input part receives a drag and drop signal for moving the position of a destination icon. If a Point Of Interest is existed within a radius of the destination icon, the control part generates final destination data by matching the final destination icon to the POI coordinate. The display part displays the searched map data and route to a screen.
