The system has a combined control circuit (220) whose combination program (PR) has a transformation function transferring an adjustment signal of a master rearview mirror (RG) i.e. interior rearview mirror, into an adjustment signal of a slave rearview mirror (RD) i.e. exterior rearview mirror. The circuit receives an implementation signal (SCM) and adjustment information (IG) of a navigator (110) from a mode switch (210). A control signal generator (222) transforms the adjustment information into control signals (DIG) of an actuator (ARD) or the slave rearview mirror.
