A method providing navigation service in shadow region, system, server for mobile communication terminal therefor provide continuously the navigation service for the destination location which is set up in advance by user regardless of the present position. The mobile communications terminal(110) transmits the navigation service request signal with the LBSP(Location Based Service Platform)(170). The mobile communications terminal extracts navigational data from the GPS propagation signal received from the GPS(Global Positioning System) artificial satellite(102). The LBSP transmits the location request signal for the mobile communications terminal to the location center(150). The location center transmits the position calculation request signal for the mobile communications terminal to the position determination server(152). The position determination server receives navigational data from the mobile communications terminal and produces the latitude and longitude coordinates of the mobile communications terminal. The indoor server(160) receives the in-building map download request signal from the mobile communications terminal. The in-building mapping data is transmitted from the indoor server to the mobile communications terminal.
