The filter (1) has filtering substrate (4) traversed by exhaust gas and retaining pollutant particles of the exhaust gas. A component has non-resistance property at threshold temperature lower than or equal to maximum temperature accepted by the substrate such that the filter is subjected to modification detectable from its behavior if the filter is subjected to temperature higher than or equal to the threshold temperature. Exhaust gas guiding channels (3) guide the exhaust gas, and are formed with orifices (5).
