<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic musical instrument for generating natural sounds even when changing a key pushing state. <P>SOLUTION: Only a note 1 is key-pushed in (a), and parts 1-4 are assigned on the note 1. A note 2 whose sound pitch is lower than the note 1 is further key-pushed in (b), and the parts 1, 2 are assigned on the note 1 and the parts 3, 4 are assigned on the note 2 respectively. A note 3 whose sound pitch is lower than the note 2 is further key-pushed in (c), and the part 1 is assigned on the note 1, the part 2 is assigned on the note 2, and the parts 3, 4 are assigned on the note 3 respectively. A note 4 whose sound pitch is lower than the note 3 is further key-pushed in (d), and the part 1 is assigned on the note 1, the part 2 is assigned on the note 2, the part 3 is assigned on the note 3, and part 4 is assigned on the note 4 respectively. The number of notes are more than the number of parts in (e), a note 5 whose sound pitch is lower than the note 4 is further key-pushed, and in this case, the part 1 is assigned on the notes 1, 2, the part 2 is assigned on the note 3, the part 3 is assigned on the note 4, and the part 4 is assigned on the note 5 respectively.
