<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film which exhibits high lubricity and has a small increase in haze due to light scattering caused by a matting agent, and a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The optical film contains at least the matting agent, wherein the difference in refractive index between a polymer material of the optical film and the matting agent is ≤0.005. The method for producing the optical film includes: spraying and adding a matting agent dispersion to a dope composition containing at least one polymer; mixing the dope composition with the matting agent dispersion added thereto at a temperature equal to or higher than a boiling point of a main solvent thereof; and forming a film from the dope composition after the mixing by a solution film-forming method. In another embodiment, the method for producing the optical film includes forming a film by co-casting a dope composition containing at least one polymer and a dope composition containing at least a matting agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
