<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily and quickly select a desired image forming apparatus corresponding to a printing target from a plurality of selectable image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: On a screen 50 for selecting an image forming apparatus in a network, toner levels of respective CMYK colors are displayed by icons in a row direction correspondingly to respective image forming apparatuses and the icons of respective CMYK colors in all image forming apparatuses are displayed in a line in a column direction. A space between a clicked selection row and its lower adjacent row is opened by an accordion method and the performance information of the image forming apparatus on the selection row is displayed in the space.
