<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing apparatus for easily and reliably providing age-limited services to a service target user. <P>SOLUTION: A data processing apparatus 100 holds various article appearance characteristics PAS of an age-limited article STP which a user can not possess unless the user is within a specific age range LAR. When receiving an article pickup image PCG in which the image of the age-limited article STP has been picked up, the data processing apparatus extracts the article appearance characteristics PAS from the article pickup image PCG, and specifies the age-limited article STP. When it is decided that the service target user STY is within a specific age range LAR by this specification, the data processing apparatus permits the provision of the age-limited service ACS. Thus, the service target user STY is permitted to receive the age-limited service ACS only by picking up the image of the age-limited article STP which the user can not possess unless the user is within the specific age range LAR. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
