<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray diagnostic imaging apparatus capable of providing stable performance regardless of the body size of a subject or the performance of the apparatus as for the visibility of a region extracted as a concerned region. <P>SOLUTION: Before the X-ray diagnostic imaging apparatus is actually used, X-ray absorbing characteristics of a prescribed substance for the thickness are collected in advance with a plurality of kinds of X-ray energy by using a plurality of stair-shaped phantoms of different thicknesses made from the prescribed substance, and the collected X-ray absorbing characteristics are stored in a converted thickness value table 28 in a storage part 21a of a digital image processing device 21. Then, the degree of X-ray absorbency in each prescribed examined region is converted to a phantom-converted thickness within a controller 20 or the digital image processing device 21 based on the X-ray energy of the X-ray irradiation used when the apparatus is actually used and the image density level, and at least two kinds of optimum X-ray energy necessary for the dual energy subtraction are calculated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
