PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery information obtaining device which obtains battery information from a battery cell and transmits the information to a control unit reducing power consumption as low as possible. SOLUTION: A battery information device is provided with: a voltage obtaining means, which obtains a voltage across terminals of the battery cell; a battery information obtaining circuit, to which an obtaining voltage is supplied as a power source voltage and which obtains battery information from the battery cell; a radio circuit, to which the obtaining voltage is supplied as the power source voltage and which transmits the signals of the battery information to the control unit via an antenna; a rectifier circuit, which receives radio signals of predetermined frequency from the control unit via the antenna and generates a DC voltage by rectifying them; and a control circuit to which the generated DC voltage is supplied as a power source voltage, and which controls the supply of the power source voltage to the battery information obtaining circuit and the radio circuit.
