<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monoblock battery case for a storage battery that can be manufactured with high production efficiency causing neither voids nor cracks in the sidewall surfaces of the formed battery case. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The monoblock battery case A for the storage battery is formed by partitioning the inside of the battery case 1 formed of a bottomed box body having long sidewalls 1a and short sidewalls 1b and opened at the upper face, into the desired number of cell chambers 1d by the desired number of partition walls 1c disposed parallel to the short sidewalls 1b, and forming thick-walled parts 1f from the lower parts to the upper parts at the outer surfaces of corner wall parts 1e where the long sidewalls 1a and short sidewalls 1b intersect.
