<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair clipper type cutting apparatus which is easily assembled, less costly, excellent in wear resistance, and can enhance cut endurance while suppressing the vibration of a knife. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A plurality of slide guide member 11, each comprising a rear guide plate 8 to be fastened and fixed to a lower knife plate 1, a front guide plate 9 arranged above a knife 4 to form a blade holding bar, and a knife clip 10 superposed and stretched between the guide plates 8, 9 are provided on the lower knife plate 1 with a spacing therebetween so that a knife bar 3 is subjected to the slide guide at a guide spacing 12 formed of the rear guide plate 8 and the front guide plate 9. The rear guide plate 8, the knife clip 10, and the front guide plate 9 are calked and integrally assembled to each other, and the slide guide member 11 forming a fixed guide spacing 12 is provided on the lower knife plate 1.
