<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display information of a wide area in spite of a small-sized and simple configuration. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The drive support device for vehicle includes an information display member 32 which displays information superimposed on an actual image visually identified via a light translucent member, a driver head monitoring means 18 which monitors the head H of a driver, a head rotating angle detection means 64 which detects a rotating angle of the head of the driver based on a signal from the driver head monitoring means 18, and information display member displacement driving means 40, 50 which displace the information display member in accordance with the rotating angle of the head H of the driver. Preferably, the drive support device for vehicle includes a danger object detection means 60 which detects a danger object O in the surroundings, an object danger level determination means 80 which determines a danger level of the danger object colliding with or contacting an own vehicle, and a display moving processing means S32 which displaces the information display member 32 toward the direction of the danger object O when the danger level is higher than a predetermined danger level.
