<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting die which has excellent removability of moisture and burrs remaining at the external faces of a movable die and a fixed die, and to provide a casting method which performs casting using the casting die. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The casting die 1 includes: a fixed die 10 composed of a fixed holder 11 and a fixed die 12; a movable die 20 composed of a movable holder 21 and a movable die 22; and a slide core 30 composed of a core holder 31 and a core die 32. At least either the fixed holder 11 or the movable holder 22 is provided with air passages 13, 23 tilted to the external faces 12a, 22a of the fixed die 12 or the movable die 22.
