A propeller drive arrangement for controlling and driving a ship (1), having at least one drive motor (2) and at least one gearbox housing (4) in a ship's hull and at least one control housing (7) outside of the ship's hull, comprising at least one propeller (8) on a driven shaft (8), is proposed, wherein the control housing (7) is arranged on the gearbox housing (4) pivotally by way of a control shaft (10) for controlling the ship (1), and wherein a gear output shaft (5) is coupled to the driven shaft (6). According to the invention, separate lubricant cycles are provided for the gearbox housing (4) and the control housing (7).
