MAGNETIC HYBRID PARTICLES OF CORE-SHELL STRUCTURE AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method for preparing magnetic hybrid particles is provided to reduce production cost and to control a shape using polymer particles surrounded by a magnetic material layer and to control the size of particles by controlling the amount of a hydrophobic organic compound monomer. CONSTITUTION: Magnetic hybrid particles comprise a core made of polymer particles, a magnetic material layer that surrounds the outside of the core, and a shell that is a polymer coating layer coated with the magnetic material layer. A method for manufacturing the magnetic hybrid particles comprises the steps of: (i) preparing polymer particles from a hydrophobic organic monomer using ionic liquid as a surfactant; (ii) forming a magnetic material layer on the surface of the polymer particles; (iii) forming a polymer coating layer on the surface of the magnetic material layer.
