摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To favorably maintain the control performance of an electric motor in a drive control device of the electric motor which uses a rectangular wave control system in the state where a voltage on the side of an electric motor drive circuit is not boosted with respect to a voltage on the side of a DC power supply. <P>SOLUTION: In this hybrid automobile, a boosting converter 55 is controlled so that a post-boosting voltage VH is booted with respect to a pre-boosting voltage VL when a target potential phase &psi;* exceeds a boosting determination potential phase &psi;ref based on the number of revolutions Nm2 of the motor when it is determined that the post-boosting voltage VH should not be boosted with respect to the pre-boosting voltage VL, and when the motor is controlled by using the rectangular wave control system (steps S 120, S160 to S190, S140, and S150). An inverter is thereby controlled by using a PWM control system further improved in control accuracy compared with the rectangular wave control system, and an output of the motor is favorably secured with favorable responsiveness even if the PWM control system relatively small in modulation rate is used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
