<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to suppress deterioration of a developer caused by heat transferred from a shaft or a rotating member which relatively rotates while coming into contact with the shaft in constitution equipped with the shaft and the rotating member. <P>SOLUTION: A gear 106 is supported to freely rotate on the shaft 201, and transmits driving force to a developer supply roll 301 for supplying the developer to a photoreceptor roll. A gap 204 is formed between the gear 106 and the shaft 201. When the gear 106 rotates, air inside the gap 204 is discharged from an opening 206 by centrifugal force, and flows in the gap 204 from an opening 205 via a path 207. Thus, the heat is radiated from the shaft 201, and the deterioration of the developer caused by transfer of the heat from the developer supply roll 301 to the developer is suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
