PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing method for a vacuum packaged product suitable for cooking by a microwave oven. SOLUTION: When a heated and softened cover film 16 is extended over a tray 20 storing a packaged item 19 therein and closely contacted the packaged item to form the vacuum packaged product, the cover film 16 is adhered to an entire continuous flange 31 under an melt-resisting limit temperature of the tray 31 as a first step. At this melt-resisting limit temperature, a sealant layer of the cover film 16 is melted, but the tray 20 is not melted. In the subsequent second step, the cover film 16 is applied with a high adhesion of black-painted part 50 over the entire flange 31 except a portion 51 under a temperature exceeding the melt-resisting limit temperature of the tray 20. During heating and cooking, although a light-melted and adhered net-pattern 51 is spontaneously peeled off with vapor pressure generated from the packaged product 19, the black-painted part 50 is not peeled off with the vapor pressure.
