<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a trace pattern during the performance of a loop changes. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A trace collection device is provided with: a trace buffer for successively storing trace data generated by performing traced processing; a first pattern table; and a memory for storing a first analysis buffer. The device is also provided with an analyzing part for the input of each trace data (first section data) generated by performing the first loop in the traced processing every time. When the matching (pattern matching) of the input data with any first division data already stored in a first pattern table is not detected, the analyzing part adds the input first division data to a first pattern table and the first analysis buffer. When the pattern matching is detected, the analyzing part does not store at least a portion of the first division data in the first analysis buffer, and when the end of the first loop is detected, the analyzing part outputs the content of the first analysis buffer to a trace buffer.
