<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the work efficiency, improve the usability, and improve the durability in a lift device for a vehicle. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the lift device for the vehicle for lifting a platform 8, a lift auxiliary link 10 is coaxially mounted on a runner 4 with a lower link 7. A linear guide 25a and a sloped guide 25b are provided in a guide member 25 for guiding a drive force transmission member connected to the lift auxiliary link 10. When the drive force transmission member is moved along the linear guide 25a to horizontally move the lift auxiliary link 10, the lower link 7 is pivoted based on the shape of a rolling surface 7b by relative movement of the rolling surface 7b of the lower link 7 and a drive lift auxiliary roller. When the drive force transmission member is moved along the sloped guide 25b to pivot the lift auxiliary link 10, the lift auxiliary link 10 is engaged with the lower link 7 so that the lower link 7 is pivoted corresponding to the pivot track of the lift auxiliary link 10 based on the shape of the sloped guide 25b.
