The system has an internal combustion engine (1) comprising two oscillating pistons, which are arranged tiltably at two piston shafts in a process area formed in a housing (12). Another internal combustion engine (2) is developed corresponding to the former internal combustion engine. An adjustable clutch device (3) is arranged between the internal combustion engines. Two crankshafts (11, 21) are interconnected with each other and comprise form-fitting elements i.e. front toothings, which cause a mechanically rigid coupling of the crankshafts.
