<p>The method involves determining a value for a lambda-deviation for each cylinder (32,34,36,38) from an average fuel-air ratio of all cylinders. The percentage deviation of the average fuel-air ratio is determined from all lambda-deviations determined for individual cylinders. The signal conditioning is carried out for a determined fuel-air ratio, and a conditioned signal is provided. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) an arrangement for monitoring the fuel-air ratio in cylinders of a diesel engine; and (2) a computer program with program code units for executing the method.</p> |
