PURPOSE: A video display and control method mix the recorded user speech in the contents. In that way the learning effect and interest of user are increased in case of the language study contents. CONSTITUTION: A video display(100) comprises the memory(130), the negative output(110), and the voice storage(140) and controller(150). The memory stores the contents. The content has the voice information. The negative output outputs the voice. The voice storage stores the voice of user. In case the content is played, controller controls the negative output. The negative output selectively outputs one among the user speech of the voice storage and saved voice information as described above.
