<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water section member with high production efficiency, allowing collective fluorine gas treatment in large quantities without needing a large treatment chamber, in reformation of the surface of the member by fluorine gas treatment. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The water section member includes: a substrate; and a resin-made surface material laminated on the substrate, which is smaller in thickness than the substrate.
