摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass rod insertion type device for measuring diffusion reflection light, which does not have a trouble such as a failure of the device even in a mechanically, thermally and chemically severe atmosphere, is repaired at a low cost even if it is broken, and is very easy for carrying and handling. SOLUTION: The device includes: a branch type light guide 1 which covers a bundle fiber with a coating member, and has a structure branching into an illumination guide part connecting a guide gathering part to a light source, and a detection guide part connecting the guide gathering part to a detector; a glass rod 2 which is connected, at one end, to the light input/output surface of the guide gathering part of the branch type light guide 1, and has, at the other end, a light receiving/emitting surface to be inserted in a scatterer sample, and is composed of the same kind of inorganic glass as the core material of the bundle fiber; and a joint part 3 where the connection ends of the guide gathering part of the branch type light guide 1 and the glass rod 2 are coupled to each other via a refractive index matching material whose refractive index is matched with that of the inorganic glass.
