<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server for synthesizing an image allowing a user to easily acquire a synthetic image by using a portable terminal; and a system for synthesizing an image including such a server for synthesizing an image. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The server for synthesizing an image includes: a user image reception means to receive a user image from a portable terminal via a communication line; a user image recording means to record the user image received by the user image reception means; a master image recording means to record a master image to be synthesized with the user image recorded in the user image recording means; an image synthesizing means to synthesize the user image recorded in the user image recording means with the master image recorded in the master image recording means; a user information recording means to record user information including an electronic mail address of the portable terminal; and an synthetic image information transmission means to transmit information related to a synthetic image synthesized by the image synthesizing means to the portable terminal having the electronic mail address recorded in the user information recording means via the communication line.
