<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shearing stress presentation device, which is reduced in size and power consumption and high in flexibility of shearing stress presentation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A first shearing stress generation part 10 includes a first roller 11 which frictionally rotates in contact with a skin 1a; a second motor 12 which rotationally drives the first roller 11; and a first encoder 13 which detects a rotating state such as phase or rotating speed of the first motor 12. A second shearing stress generation part 20 includes a second roller 21 which frictionally rotates in contact with the skin; a second motor 22 which rotationally drives the second roller 21; and a second encoder 23 which detects a rotating state such as phase or rotating speed of the second motor 22. A rotation control part 30 controls the rotation of each motor according to the rotating state detected by each encoder so that a predetermined shearing stress is presented to the skin 1a by each roller.
