<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame for a free access floor on which heavy equipment can be installed without allowing amplification of vibration from the floor, and which can be easily installed and constructed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Reinforcement plates 5 are installed on a lower plate 3. The reinforcement plate 5 is made of a member such as a steel plate-like member, and thicker than a lower plate 3. The reinforcement member 5 is installed at the joint part with struts 13 between slit parts 7. The reinforcement member 5 includes a plurality of holes 9. A female screw is attached to each of the holes 9. Since the hole 9 does not extend to the lower plate 3, an adhesive agent is not intruded from the lower side of the lower plate 3 to the upper side of the lower plate 3 or into the holes 9 of the reinforcement members 5. The struts 13 are screwed with the holes 9 of the reinforcement members 5, and fixed with nuts 12. Two struts 13 are provided near the sides of the lower plate 3 respectively and a total of eight struts are provided so as to uniformly receive a force from the upper side.
