<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame for a free access floor on which heavy equipment can be installed without allowing amplification of vibration from the floor, and which can be easily installed and constructed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A plurality of struts 15 are installed on a lower plate 4 in the generally vertical direction. The strut 15 is a steel bar-like member with a hexagonal cross sectional shape. Both ends of the strut includes bolt parts 17a, 17b the diameters of which are smaller than those of the hexagonal cross sectional part. A lower frame 21 is installed above the struts 15. Holes 27 and holes 29 are formed in the lower frame 21. The holes 27 are connection parts with the struts 15. The upper bolt part 17b of the strut 15 extends through the hole 27 of the lower frame 21, and is fixed with a nut 31.
