<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety fence fixing device, preventing movement of a safety fence, alarming if the safety fence should be moved, and easy in operation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The safety fence fixing device 1 includes: safety fence fixing means constituted of hooks 4, springs 5, and pins 6 which fix safety fence legs 3 of the inserted safety fence 2; floor surface sucking means constituted of suction disks 7 sucking the floor surface 13 for setting the safety fence 2, and levers 8 operating ON/OFF of sucking of the suction disks 7 onto the floor surface 13; a vibration detecting means constituted of vibration sensors 10 detecting vibration generated in the safety fence 2, and switches 9 operating ON/OFF of the vibration sensors 10; and alarm issuing means constituted of alarming buzzers 11 issuing alarm in conjunction with detection of vibrations by the vibration sensors 10, and alarm signal issuing means 12. When the lever 8 of the floor surface sucking means is turned on, the vibration sensor 10 of the vibration detecting means is turned on in synchronization therewith.
